It's been a while

Hi All .. It’s been 2 months since I last posted and the only excuse I have is that my work has kept me way too busy … I haven’t been able to read much of my favorite blogs.
I hope you all are well.
Life here has been ticking along…. The economy is slowing down and interest rates are going up. The man in the street is starting to feel the pinch. We’ve been told to curb our spending but then we still have to live somehow.
As for the social scene … Well not much has changed. I’ve learnt to deal with people who don’t really mean much to me anymore. N… still calls but our conversations are no longer what it used to be. I guess people change and life goes on.
I recently got back from a few days away from the office…. Actually anytime away from the office is a welcoming break.
We’re in Autumn at the moment. The night and early mornings are a bit chilly but the day time temp is still around 24Deg C. Soon winter will be here but its nothing compared to my friends in the north.
Anyway I hope to write more often.

Mid summer nights

I've been in silent city for a while. The company I work for has blocked all links to blogspot ( this sucks) On the odd occasion I manage to read my fav blogs... yes , you know who you are.
Anyway I hope you all are doing okay.
Anna wrote to me today ... glad to hear from you... missed you.
Since I got back from my holiday it felt as if I've never been on one. Work had been very stressful. I recently did an online servey to see if I could move to Canada ... yep guys .. you might just see me calling on you for some help... I qualified on points. I'm not sure though if i'll be abale to take the weather. We're in mid summer at the moment with day time temps sitting at 32 deg C. We had some good rains a few weeks ago but haven't seen any for the past 7 days. Our winter temps go down to -2 but that only lasts for about 2 or three days.
The summer nights are filled with hot steamy bodies , cool breezers , the smell of a lady's perfume and lots of erotic stuff.

Back to life

As the saying goes ... All good things come to an end.... I'm back at work after a great 4 weeks of sun and surf. The daily temp along the coast was around 30 deg C. With little wind , lots of beautiful women , white sane beaches and perfect waves.
I haven't spent this much time in the sun in years. The kids had a wonderful time. They went back to school yesterday and to top it all its been raining since yesterday morning.
Being back at work makes me want to take another holiday. However someone has to pay the bills.
I hope you all had a great christmas and New Year. I wish you all the best for 2008.

Almost there

4 work days left and then its PARTY TIME !!!!! ... 4 weeks of glorious sunshine ... white soft beach sand under my feet. Something cold in my hand. Some lovely company by my side and thoughts of all the nice things in life. Well that's what I hope it will be. The weather has been lovely with the day time temp at 30 deg C. The kids are already on their annual summer vacation. They only go back on the 9th of January. Large turns 16 in January. Medium starts high school next year and small starts primary school. I can't believe how the years have passed. Geez just thinking about it makes me feel old. I hope a you all are doing well. I probably won't be posting until I get back so let me take this opportunity to wish you all a happy festive season. May all that is good be with you.

12 work days left

12 more work days before I go on a long 4 week vacation. My mind is already in holiday mode however I still have tons of work to complete before then. The weather has been great lately with daytime temps at 30 deg C. The boys just finished their exams and by the looks of it medium and large ( my 2 sons) passed with good marks. They'll get their results in a weeks time.
Medium starts high school next year. Large turns 16 in January. As for queen Bee, her business is picking up fairly well.
We have our annual company Christmas function tonight. This year is a formal black tie event. Hopefully it will be better than last year where it turned out to be F*&^up.
Oh, all couples will have a limit of 10 drinks for the evening, thereafter any additional drinks will be for ones own account. I'm kind of looking forward to it though.

Update

I’m struggling to find the time to catch up on my blog posts. 4 weeks to go before I go on a month long holiday. I know it’s going to be a long 4 weeks.
The temp today is 39 deg C and we haven’t had rain for over a week.
Update on N… she’s gone overseas for 6 weeks. She called before she left. It went something like this…
She: Hi, how are you doing?
Me: I’m fine…
She: you’ve been pretty quiet lately?
Me: yeah , I’ve been busy.
She: I just wanted to tell you I’m going away for 6 weeks.
Me: sure , take care…. click

I mean what am I supposed to say “ I’ll miss you , please keep in touch?” you treated me like shit for so long , am I supposed to put all that behind me and be all nice? I gave you my heart and you gave it back in pieces.
Not now not ever again!!!
